RediRoom is not designed to be used without a power source - whilst it is possible to set up and use the RediRoom frame and canopy without power, the HEPA filter and fans will not work without a power source, and therefore could present an infection hazard if the air is not filtered.
The curtains can be moved against the friction of the motor without power, for example if there was a power cut - however, the biggest risk presented is infectious air from within the RediRoom without filtration.
